About the Author
Author and entrepreneur Lawson Gow, the oldest of five kids, realized he was on to something important when his youngest brother kept asking for more of his poems. He created this first collection to share moments of joy with children who are served by charitable organizations in Houston, and in the process, he shares an important message with all of us. On topics that range from silly to sentimental with a perfect dash of icky, these poems and the energetic illustrations that accompany them, will help readers young and old to put on a happy face, and mean it.
